The coming of Fort Chaffee displaced many historic and prosperous communities and families. Joseph Chasteen, Chaffee Crossing Historian, will present the history of these communities at the April 15 meeting of the South Sebastian County Historical Society in Greenwood. Members of the community are asked to bring old photos, mementoes and stories to show and discuss. Time will be provided during the meeting for those who wish to speak. All are welcome.
Monday, April 15, 7 PM, Community Room, Farmer's Bank, 71 West Center Street, Greenwood.
