Fiftieth Birthday Celebration

Sixty-two members and guests of the South Sebastian County Historical Society were entertained and educated at Monday night’s meeting. Former Mayor Ken Edwards presented the most interesting tale of the naming of the city of Greenwood and its selection as the Sebastian County Seat in 1851, outlining the history of our namesake, Judge Alfred Burton Greenwood.
